Whohoo!!! I finally get to celebrate a huge milestone I’ve been waiting years for!!! Today, I FINISHED the first draft of my first novel!!! 🎉🎉🎉
I worked on it in November 2019 and November 2020, for NaNoWriMo, but didn’t get back to it until this month. I worked on it over the last few weeks and I finally finished! When NaNoWriMo2020 finished, it was at just over 110,000 words, and when I finished the draft, it came to 115,637 words! I knew when I put it down at the end of 2020 that I’d only need a few thousand more words to finish, and I sure did that. About 5,000 was all I needed!
I’m so very happy right now!!!
